Methodology Courses for Spanish teachers

Duration: Two weeks (40 hours)

Course content

• Teaching portfolio
• Group dynamics
• Typology of activities
• Skills
• Sessions on Spanish culture
• Vocabulary presentation and practice

Dates 2010

• February 1—12
• March 1—12
• May 3—14
• May 31—June 11
• July 5—16
• August 2—13
• September 6—17
• November 2—12

The school will be closed on national holidays and classes missed will not be recovered.

Timetable

• Mornings: 09.30—12.30
• Afternoons, first week: 14.00—16.00

During the second week, afternoons are free, with the option of joining in on the school's social and culture program.

Price

• 495€

Participants will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the course.

Methodology and Culture Courses for Spanish teachers

Duration: Two weeks (65 hours)

Course content

The content covered will be that of the Methodology course (above) together with the following subjects:

• Error correction, pronunciation, second language acquisition and planning of classes, among others
• Grammar review
• Observation and commentary on classes given by International House teachers
• Sessions on Spanish culture

Dates 2010

• July 5—16

Timetable

• Mornings: 09.00—13.00
• Afternoons: 14.30—17.30

Once a week, participants will be able to join in with the activities on the school's social and culture program.
