Face-to-face courses

This is the course format International House has traditionally provided, with all your classes in the centre and, for a teacher, a qualified native speaker who is an expert on teaching English.

We provide a range of courses, from the three hours a week on a normal course to up to ten hours a week on an intensive course.

We also provide a range of 10 different levels, from complete beginner to very advanced levels.

Apart from that, we have a large number of special courses such as those preparing students for Cambridge examinations.

Online English courses

We provide a wide range of online English courses, which include general English courses at different levels, "English for Work" courses, etc.

The courses are designed to take advantage of the huge potential the Internet has as a learning media and include a vast array of interactive materials that enhance and stimulate learning. In addition, each student has their own IH Barcelona teacher to work with throughout their course.

There are a number of advantages to this option: you can study when and where you want without restriction, all you need being a multimedia PC and Internet access. There is also a considerable price saving.
