| If the time after sundown is your time, Barcelona is definitely the place for you! Because in Spain, where most shops still close in the middle of the day for the siesta, the cities awake again at sundown. If you like to dance in a big dark club with the party crowd, the Nitsa should be the right club for you. The La Paloma is a hundred-year old club with stucco and paintings on the ceiling where they have bands playing as well as DJs mixing the sound. |
| If you prefer dancing under the open sky, you have to go to the Liquid (left). And don't forget to take your bikini or your bathing trunks, because the best thing about the Liquid is the huge illuminated swimming pool surrounded by palm trees! Another bar that I can recommend, where you can go for a drink as well as to dance, is the Fonfone, which is fabulously designed and offers good music (centre). But there are countless other bars and clubs to discover, so the night in Barcelona should be a blast for everyone from dusk till dawn. |
| Maybe you are lucky and meet up with some Spanish people who invite you to their private parties. Then you might end up meeting Zorro and Darth Vader at a dress up movie party in the middle of August, as I did. |
