Accreditation for our Spanish courses

We are a centre accredited by the Instituto Cervantes.

We belong to the International House World Organization, which since 1953 has been dedicated to the goal of raising the standard of foreign language teaching.

We are also members of FEDELE (The Federacion Española de Escuelas de Español como Lengua Extranjera) and ACELE (Asociación Catalana de Escuelas de Español/Lengua extranjera).

We are authorised to accept students under the terms of official study programmes - the Swedish National Board of Student Aid (CSN) and the German "Bildungsurlaub".

For US students there is also the possibility of obtaining academic credit for our courses.

IH Barcelona has the EN ISO 9001 Quality Certificate.

EAQUALS is an international association of providers of language courses and services which aims to promote high quality within the language education field. In order to become an Accredited Member of EAQUALS, each school must undergo a rigorous external inspection to ensure that the school is able to meet the strict criteria laid down in the EAQUALS Charters. We train our own carefully selected teachers on our teacher training courses -- which are certified by IL3 Universitat de Barcelona [website].

IH Barcelona has obtained the CEELE seal of quality, granted by Alcalá de Henares University.

We are officially recognised as a centre collaborating with the Madrid Chamber of Commerce.
