Christmas in Barcelona
Christmas in Barcelona: Inevitably different. Shown, left, some of the cardboard cut-out Nativity figures the local authorities (ably assisted by a local design school) provided for us last Christmas. No one liked them very much -- but they were different! Why not give yourself a really memorable present this Christmas? Come and spend the festive season with us in Barcelona...
Over the Christmas period, we have Spanish courses in the weeks December 17th to 23rd and then a three-day week 24th to 30th, which means you can still get home for New Year if that's want you want to do - or you can stay and celebrate a Spanish New Year with us in Barcelona!
As you won't be having class five days a week, these courses are specially priced, the 17th-23rd at €190 and the 24th-30th at just €130.
The school stays open, with only the 25th and 26th being public holidays this year. We also have a special festive social and cultural program.
We'll also organise your choice of accommodation for you with one of our carefully selected Spanish host families, in an apartment sharing with other students, in your own exclusive apartment, or in one of the city's many hotels.
Don't be a turkey! Book your flight early and you'll find some really low fares. You should book a flight that brings you into Barcelona on the Sunday. Fly out on Saturday 29th - or stay in Barcelona and continue your Spanish course for another week or more. Classes start again on January 2nd.
If you only want to catch New Year in Barcelona (and if there's one thing we do know how to do in Barcelona, it's celebrate!), then with New Year's Eve being the Sunday it will only mean two extra night's accommodation.
