Spanish for teenagers: social program

The course includes a very full program of excursions and other activities with all costs covered by the course fee. The provisional program of activities for this July-August is as shown below. In the evenings, additional activities will be organised to keep the students entertained. These will include talent competitions, karaoke, arts and craft activities, etc.

The precise details of the social program are subject to change, but modifications will be kept to a minimum.

Week 1

• Monday: Orientation walk around Tarragona and welcome party. Fireworks display on the beach
• Tuesday: Aquopolis Waterpark, Human castles
• Wednesday: Visit to the Roman walls, Bingo night
• Thursday: Arrabassada Beach and sports
• Friday: Spanish tapas workshop
• Saturday: Full-day excursion to Barcelona (Montjuïc)
• Sunday: Day with the host family or picnic on the beach

Week 2

• Monday: Orientation walk around Tarragona or Milagro beach
• Tuesday: Bowling
• Wednesday: Treasure hunt, Fireworks on the beach
• Thursday: Arrabassada Beach and sports
• Friday: Free afternoon for shopping and Farewell party
• Saturday: Full-day excursion to Port Aventura
• Sunday: Day with the host family or picnic on the beach

Week 3

• Monday: Orientation walk around Tarragona or beach
• Tuesday: Aquopolis Waterpark, Human castles
• Wednesday: Visit to Roman aqueduct, DVD night
• Thursday: Arrabassada Beach and sports
• Friday: Free afternoon for shopping, Farewell talent contest
• Saturday: Full-day excursion to Barcelona (Park Güell)
• Sunday: Day with the host family or picnic on the beach

 

Week 4

• Monday: Orientation walk around Tarragona or beach
• Tuesday: Afternoon in Cambrils
• Wednesday: Roman workshop, Bingo night
• Thursday: Arrabassada Beach and sports
• Friday: Free afternoon for shopping and Farewell party
• Saturday: Full-day excursion to Port Aventura
• Sunday: Day with the host family or picnic on the beach

Week 5

• Monday: Orientation walk around Tarragona or beach
• Tuesday: Aquopolis Waterpark, Human castles
• Wednesday: Sevillanas dance workshop
• Thursday: Arrabassada Beach and sports
• Friday: Free afternoon for shopping, Farewell beach party
• Saturday: Full-day excursion to Barcelona (Las Ramblas)
• Sunday: Day with the host family or picnic on the beach

Week 6

• Monday:Bowling
• Tuesday: Afternoon in Salou, Picnic on the beach in Salou
• Wednesday: Visit to the Roman walls, Pretori & Anfiteatre
• Thursday: Afternoon/evening excursion to Port Aventura
• Friday: Free afternoon and Farewell party
