One of the images we produced (text in comments, below)Take a photograph of an object belonging to your partner (watch, photo in a wallet, piece of jewelry, etc).
Open a Word document, save it in "My documents" and then write about your partner's object: why is it of value to him/her?

Challenging for Mid Intermediate, good consolidation exercise for upper intermediate.
Good to practise questioning to find information and good for practising past perfect and past continuous in the written form. Could be too personal in some cases if the group don't know each other very well. Varying levels of prompts could be supplied.

Rose´s Bracelet and ring
Rose has had the bracelet for two years and the ring since 2007. They were both presents from her boyfriend, David. The ring he bought her to match the bracelet when they were at Glastonbury Festival. Rose misses him lots so she likes to wear them all the time.
