Blogs and Blogging for Language Teachers
Content
This course is aimed at practising teachers in secondary schools and EOIs who are interested in finding easy, successful ways to use technology in learner-centred classrooms.
It is suitable both for those who already know what a blog is (a simple, easy-to-set-up webpage) and for those who do not. Teachers who already have experience of blogging may find that they already know how to do some of what we will be looking at but should still find the practical ideas suggested useful.
Most of the sessions will involve participants setting up their own blogs and looking at ways in which they could be used in the classroom.
The objective is for participants to acquire the confidence, knowledge and ideas to enable them to use blogs for project work with a class or classes in their next academic year.
