• The Teacher Training Department of IH Barcelona is part of the London-based IH World Organisation, the largest - and widely regarded as the best - independent language teaching and teacher training organisation in the world.
• The original IH four-week preparatory course, in existence since 1963, provided the model for the present-day Cambridge CELTA.
• In Barcelona, we have been training teachers of English since 1974. We have an international reputation for excellence and we are now one of the largest ELT training centres in Europe.
• IH Barcelona is an official centre for the Cambridge CELTA and DELTA (Diploma) courses.

• You can study Spanish in the Spanish department of IH Barcelona, where there is a discount for teacher trainees. Post-course, many of our CELTA students in fact enrol on the Spanish classes given by trainees on our Spanish teacher training courses
