Workshop Series, Barcelona (Spain) 2-5 October 2006

Working 'consciously' across cultures

How to be an Ethical, Competent and Effective Intercultural Practitioner

--- [ Introduction ] [ Full program ] [ Registration ] ---

We are always working with people across cultures, with people who are different from us. But most of these interactions are on an "unconscious" level.

These semi-annual career/professional development workshops, co-designed and presented by Monika de Waal and Jeremy Solomons and with the support of SIETAR-España, are for people who want to work and communicate across cultures – and help others to do so – in a more deliberate, "conscious" way.

  • Are you a student or recent graduate looking to learn new skills for an exciting career opportunity?
  • Are you an experienced intercultural/diversity counselor, coach or small group trainer who wants to develop your large group/platform skills?
  • Are you an experienced traveler/sojourner or trainer interested in re-directing current expertise into a new career in intercultural/diversity training?
  • Or are you a manager with intercultural/diversity training responsibilities?

If you answered YES! to any of these questions, you are cordially invited to attend one or both of the following workshops. So are any of your colleagues and contacts...

Dates: 2-5 October 2006
Venue: International House Barcelona, Calle Trafalgar 14, Barcelona, Spain
Times: 10.00 to 19.00 on 2-4 October (plus optional group dinner each evening).
8.00 to 17.00 on 5 October (to allow people to get home the same day).
