Get Talking, with Simon Gillow
June 2006For Primary: Thursday June 1, 6.15pm | For Secondary: Thursday June 8, 6.15pm
The session
Getting young learners to speak in English is not easy. Lack of language, low-motivation and having to deal with a high number of learners of mixed abilities means that even the most experienced teacher can have problems setting up and managing oral activities.
In our first practical session Simon will demonstrate a range of classroom tasks and teaching techniques designed to help you be successful with speaking activities in the classroom.
