Intensive Spanish Courses in Mexico

2009

Our intensive Spanish courses consist of 4 hours Spanish tuition per day, from 09.30 to 13.30, Monday to Friday. The average number of students per class is 4-5 and the maximum is 8.

In July and August some classes may be scheduled to take place in the afternoons or evenings.

For students with no previous knowledge of Spanish, we offer the following start dates:

Students who already have some knowledge of Spanish may start an Intensive Spanish Course any Monday throughout the year (except public holidays).

The week starting April 6 includes 2 public holidays, and is specially priced accordingly.

In the week beginning November 2, the Monday is a holiday, so classes therefore begin on the Tuesday.

• Price per week up to 4 weeks: 220 US$
• 2 weeks: 440 US$
• 3 weeks: 660 US$
• 4 weeks: 880 US$
• Price per week up to 12 weeks: 200 US$
• Price per week up to 23 weeks: 190 US$
• Price per week for more than 24 weeks: 180 US$
• Special 3-day week (see dates, above): 145 US$

Note that there is no registration fee for our courses.

Included in the course fees: Registration, level test, certificates, programme of social & cultural activities, student card and access to all the school's facilities. There is no separate registration fee.

All these materials are included in the price of the course. Please note that your coursebook is not included. However, if you do not want to purchase a book, you can borrow a copy on payment of a refundable deposit.

Intensive Spanish + Cooking course

Learn how to make some of Mexico's most delicious dishes in our beautiful garden kitchen. Cookery classes take place on 3 afternoons per week. Students can take 2, 3 or 4 weeks of classes.

Intensive Spanish + Diving course

As well as being a wonderful place to learn Spanish, Playa del Carmen is the perfect location for students to learn to dive. Working with a specialist diving school, we offer two diving courses:

• Course A Diving for Beginners: a 3-day course leading to the PADI Open Water certificate for dives of up to 18 meters.
• Course B Advanced Diving Course: a 2-3 day course that leads to the PADI certificate for dives up to 30 meters.

All dives and other activities are programmed so as not to clash with the Spanish lessons taken in the mornings.

Intensive Spanish + Latin Dancing

If getting underwater is not really your thing, how about the dance floor…? You can also add on a Latin Dancing class (Cha Cha, Rumba, Salsa, Samba…) to your Spanish class.

You'll find lots of opportunity to practise in Playa's clubs and discos!
