Intensive Group Spanish Courses

Our intensive group Spanish courses in Palma consist of 4 hours tuition per day, from Monday to Friday. Classes normally take place from 09.30 to 13.30, with a twenty-minute break for coffee taken halfway through the morning.

During July and August, some intensive courses may be scheduled to take place in the afternoons-evenings, from 16.00 to 20.00. If you attend afternoon classes, you will be able to attend a special social programme of visits and activities that takes place in the mornings.

There is a maximum of 10 students per group and the minimum age for these courses is 16. All course materials are included in the course fee.

Intensive Spanish Courses are offered at all levels from complete beginners to very advanced.

Start dates (2010)
If you already have some knowledge of Spanish, you can start your course on any Monday.

If you have no previous knowledge of Spanish, pick from the following start dates:

Please note: The weeks starting 29 March and 6 December include 2 public holidays, making a special 3-day week and therefore has a special price (see below).

Monday April 5, Monday November 1 and Monday December 6 are public holidays so classes in those weeks will therefore start on the Tuesday.

Prices (2010)

• Price per week up to 4 weeks: €205
• Price per week up to 12 weeks: €190
• Price per week up to 23 weeks: €175
• Price per week for more than 23 weeks: €170
• Special 3-day week: €140

Note that there is no registration fee for our courses.

Price includes registration, classes, level test, all course materials, certificates, programme of social & cultural activities and access to all the school facilities.

Not included: Entrance fees and transport for excursions.

Holidays 2010
IH Palma will be closed for holidays on the 1, 6 and 20 January; 1, 2 and 5 April; 1 May; 12 October; 1 November and 6, 8, and 25 December.

Please note that classes lost on the holidays listed above cannot be made up at other times.

Spanish and sailing

Why not combine your Spanish course with a sailing course? We have both private and small group sailing classes to choose from...

Combined courses: Mallorca and Barcelona

Students can combine a Spanish course at IH Palma with a similar course at IH Barcelona, either before or after their stay in Mallorca, with a minimum of 2 weeks at each location.
