Our students
Nationalities
Our students come from all over the world (see pie chart, right). The majority of them are European, although we always have some Americans studying with us as well as a number of students from Eastern Europe.
The percentages of our students from different regions of the world is as follows:

The top 5 nationalities are currently Italian, followed by British, German, American and Swiss.
Professions
Most of our students are young, professional people who need Spanish to develop their careers. But we also have a large proportion of students who are still full-time students in their own countries as well as an increasing number of people who are simply learning Spanish as a hobby.
Ages
The average age of our students is 24 to 28, although we often have students as young as 17 and as old as 75.
The age range of students on our intensive courses:
10% 40+
30% 30 to 40 year-olds
45% 20 to 30 year-olds
15% 16 to 20 year-olds
Note that we have a special Over-50s Spanish course, with its own social and cultural programme, for anyone over the age of 50 who prefers to study with people of the same age group.
