Roger Hunt

"Why did we start talking in the first place?" Andrew Henley asks Roger Hunt (right).

Roger looks at some of the theories on how language originated -- including Roger's own favourite, the "Yo-he-ho" theory, according to which language began with cavemen needing to work to together to move a tree.

If that doesn't really convince you, Roger has half a dozen more for you, most with equally odd names...!
