This course is aimed at non-native English teachers at Secondary level who would like to improve both their knowledge of current practice in the teaching of English as a Foreign Language and their own teaching skills in the classroom. Each session of the course will therefore include a small theoretical component and a larger practical part to help teachers acquire and consolidate their English teaching skills. Participants who complete the course will be given an International House Certificate of Attendance.
Participants will need to have an Upper-Intermediate level of English as this course will be given in English. The tutor will be the Director of International House Tarragona, Keith Armstrong, who has the Cambridge Diploma in English Language Teaching (DELTA) and is currently completing his MA in Applied Linguistics – English Language Teaching.
