You will normally need at least 40 hours tuition (two weeks on our intensive courses) at any one level before advancing to the next course. As you can see below, we have a wide range of levels, from absolute beginners to very advanced.
The table gives an idea of how our levels compare to those of the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR, in Spanish the MCER).
Also shown are the 10 levels on intensive Spanish courses at IH Barcelona, as well as the different Instituto Cervantes Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE).
Our DELE exam courses prepare you for the B1, B2 and C1 levels of the DELE exams.
On our part-time Spanish courses we have a slightly different structure of levels.

ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe)
On the first day that you begin a Spanish course with us, there is both a written and an oral placement test.
But meanwhile, you can take a free online Spanish level test here, to give you an approximate idea of your level (no registration required).
